I got a 29 on my ACT (my math sucked ass, 26). But I got an ELEVEN OUT OF TWELVE ON THE ESSAY AND A 33 out of 34 ON THE READING. I’m applying there as their program is in the top fifteen, they’re small. The max amount of kids in a class is 40. Since I’m applying to be a BSE (Bachelors of Science: Engineering). I HAD TWO WRITE ANOTHER ESSAY IN ADDITION TO THE WRITING SUPPLEMENT.
REEEEEEE!

But...but...engineers usually have poor communication skills, and are good at math.

That math is way too low for Princeton engineering. Do you have time to take it again?
Good luck tho

Excellent reading and writing, you say?
I HAD TWO WRITE ANOTHER ESSAY
(Take it again and dominate the math...lots of American kids get high English scores, and lots of Indians & Asians get high Math, but reasonably high scores in both together is rare and will help distinguish you)

Good luck, my Diff Eq II professor went to Princeton and this guy blows my fucking mind every day in class. He operates on a whole different level that just helps reaffirm to me the sensation that the more I learn, the more I realize I don’t know jack shit.

29 composite. 35 reading. 33 writing. 24 math. I feel you.
I just started applying to schools. Its so much fun! /s

Haha what I saw immediately

You got a 26 on the Math and you want to be in Engineering?
Serious question: You know Engineering is mostly Math, right?
A word of caution, my Freshman year dorm floor started with 8 MEs at the beginning of the Fall semester, by Christmas 3 of them jumped to Business, and another jumped by the end of the Spring semester. I know nothing about your math ability aside from that number, if you doubt your math at all please reconsider your degree aspirations.
Sincerely, a guy who got a 30 on the ACT (with a 33 in Math) and a BSME degree.

I'm great at calculus. I honestly don't know what happens.

I think my score is good enough for Georgia Tech!

Engineers usually communicate with math, CAD, calculators and awkwardness.

Which school do you go to?

Don’t worry, you’ll do fine. Take heart. Everybody knows Einstein flunked Physics as a freshman.

OK, I made that up, but you’ll still do OK. Maybe.

I’ve pretty much given up on math. Pre calc lost me. I’m great at writing. Math makes no sense to me.
I just want to major in business. I really don’t need to know such high level math.

Exactly! I got a 29 composite (31 math) but I SUCK at calculus and am switching to accounting at semester
I was shooting for computer engineering, but alas, twas not meant to be :’(

Study math a bit before you get there if you wanna be an engineer. When I applied to my schools engineering program 3 years ago they only asked for my math score. Can’t believe I got a higher average overall than someone applying to Princeton

32 composite here, 29 math, 34 reading. Sitting in my dorm at the University of Denver and I have no regrets. Princeton can suck my ass.

My Physics II professor is like that. I feel so stupid

A relatively small private college in the middle of Illinois, I wouldn’t recommend going there.

Oh boy how I hated college applications. Go to Columbia because NYC>NJ.

31 ACT here. 36 science, 35 math, and fuck knows what happened on english and whatnot.......But is there a reason why you want princeton? Engineering degrees for the “working world” as it were are probably more applicable if you come from a different background than ivy league. If you have contacts/legacy or whatnot then by all means, go for it.
